On Monday, Prime Minister Office Islamabad received a letter from United States President Donald Trump; he has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to help in resolving the Afghanistan issue. According to the information received from PM Office, US President Donald Trump has written a letter to PM Imran Khan asking for help in bringing Taliban on one table of dialogues to resolve the Afghanistan issue.
In the meantime, US President Donald Trump praised Pakistan’s efforts in the war against terrorism; few days before in a Tweet Donald Trump denied efforts of Pakistan and also stopped aid. But in reply of Trump tweet, PM Imran Khan said bravely that no one can deny Pakistan’s efforts.
The PM Imran Khan held meeting with senior journalists and anchors of Pakistani news channels in Islamabad and discussed current Pakistan’s situation and where we are stand. Nowadays, Pakistan is facing lots of economy crises and not in position to enter war of others.
In a discussion with senior journalists and anchors, PM Imran Khan said that Donald Trump has asked for Pakistan’s support for negotiation with Afghan Taliban. United States has also realized now that peace cannot be achieved in Afghanistan without Pakistan’s help, he added.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that America has finally realized the importance of Partisan’s role in maintaining peace in Afghanistan. PM Imran will reply to Donald Trump after discussion with Ministers and Military Officials.
