Change is on way because Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has launched Pakistan Citizen Portal to bring change in Pakistan on said in an official ceremony; PM said we are working to improve the performance of Government and Governance structure to make the batter and strong future of Pakistan. Further, he was addressing a ceremony after the inauguration of Pakistan Citizen Portal in Islamabad. PTI Government has already completed a successful experiment in KPK. Pakistan Citizen Portal Mobile App is available free for Android and iOS users.
PM Imran Khan said Pakistan has vast potential and we need to work hard to make this country better. He said this is Naya Pakistan and will only be made when people start owning the system after having self-reliance in the government. PM said the innovative development of this mobile App is considerable and it imitates that old colonial attitude has been exchanged with liability for all including government, politicians and public servants.
Further, PM Imran Khan said Pakistan Citizen Portal will empower the government to know the performance of ministries and institutions. Moreover, future policies will be made after getting the public response and feedback through Pakistan Citizen Portal. Imran Khan said it will also give a superior voice to overseas Pakistanis and expatriates.
The Prime Minister said our strategy is to increase the comfort of doing business to appeal foreign investment in Pakistan which will help to improve the economy of Pakistan. PM said he will get a report on weekly basis to check the performance of several government institutions.
The Prime Minister said the reward and punishment system in the public sector will also become easier with the coming of this system and the promotions of government employees will be observed on the basis of their performance.
Pakistan Citizen Portal has been set up at the Prime Minister’s office with an aim to timely address problems of the people and to get their feedback. The portal will be used to send complaints and suggestions to PM office directly. The Prime Minister office will oversee the procedure of addressing the public grievances and implementation on recommendations.
