Pakistan Cricket Board has announced their 15-member squad for T20 Series 2019, the three-match series against South Africa starting 1st February 2019. Mohammad Amir returns to the side, replacing Waqas Maqsood for the series against South Africa.
The 26-year-old left-armed was left out of the limited-overs and Test squads after a poor showing in last year’s Asia Cup but was brought back into both for the ongoing tour of South Africa.
Pakistan, who is currently playing a five-match one-day series in South Africa, will play T20 matches in Cape Town on February 1, Johannesburg on February 3 and at Centurion on 6th February. Pakistan are ranked number one in T20 Internationals and have won nine successive matches as well as a world record 17 out of 19 T20Is they played last year.
