Pakistan And UAE Have Signed An Agreement To Grant $3 Billion Loan

Qatar: Prime Minister Imran Khan met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani In Doha on Tuesday, said a report issued by the Pakistan Foreign Office. The premier and the Emir discussed the whole spectrum of bilateral ties and regional and international matters of mutual interest.

Pakistan and United Arab Emirates have signed an agreement to grant $3 billion loan. The agreement for $3 billion loan was signed by Governor State Bank of Pakistan Tariq Bajwa and Chairman Abu Dhabi Development Fund. As per the accord, UAE will transfer $1 billion to Pakistan within a few days while the remaining $2 billion will be handed over in two installments in two weeks.

During the one-on-one meeting with the Qatari leader, the Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed the decrease in LNG prices and the provision of job opportunities for Pakistani youth in Qatar. In the owner of Prime Minister Imran Khan a red carpet was rolled out for the premier upon his arrival and he was given a guard of honour.

The Prime Minister o arrived on a two-day visit to Qatar on Monday and met with his counterpart Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. Prime Minister Imran Khan is visiting the country on the invitation of the Qatari Emir. According to the recent reports Imran Khan and his team has left for Pakistan.
