Govt Instructed To FBR For marking Amnesty Scheme Easier

Prime Minister’s Finance Advisor Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to make assets deceleration “MODIFY AND REFINE” in Amnesty Scheme 2019 to make it more attractive.

The members of the meeting emphasized the need to make the Amnesty Scheme 2019 easy and efficient also suggested that since the purpose of this scheme is to improve the economy, it should be given such a way that its purpose is to be displayed.


On this occasion Abdul Hafeez Shaikh directed FBR to develop a successful communication strategy through which people can understand this scheme easily. The press releases were pointed out that the federal cabinet also advised the FBR to consult the experts from different fields and directed the amnesty scheme to be more active and to overcome its complexities.

In this meeting, Prime Minister Advisor for Commerce, Textile, Industry, Production and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor Institute of Administrative Reforms Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Minister of State for Revenue Muhammad Hammad Azhar, Chairman FBR, alongwith other business experts from banking sector specialists participated.
