Finally, Google Admits That Android Devices Save Battery On Dark Mode

Do you worry about your smartphone battery expiring soon? So, now Google has given the reason behind it. Actually, the Dark Mode helps save battery life. During the Android Dove conference on Thursday, the company acknowledged that the presence of dark-mode in operating systems and apps helps to increase the battery life of smartphone. Dark mode is an option that turns the operating system or app cleaner scheme from black.

It was a long time that “Dark Mode” devices improve the battery life of mobile phones, and Google has officially acknowledged it. An image released by Google has been told that use of “Dark Mode” in comparison with normal mode is 43% less battery power on full brightness when compared to the normal mode in the YouTube app that have a tendency to consume a lot of white.

Interestingly, Google also acknowledged that it has made a mistake that it encouraged the use of white-colored apps for app developers. Now Android operating systems (Android pie) and many apps can use on dark mode, but there are several applications that do not have this option and they are using white color as the main color theme.

The OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display with dark-mode phones increase battery life significantly, which is currently being used in most phones. Dark mode is also helpful in protecting from eye-to-face light from negative effects.
