Facebook Successfully Deleted 14 Million Terrorists Content And Posts

Facebook is often criticized on posting fake, hateful and terrorist content, but now the company Facebook has claimed that over the past year, more than 14 million terrorists content and related posts have been successfully deleted during this year. According to the report released by the Facebook, it was posted about 250 million hate, Terrorists Content or prohibited material before 2018 and these posts were shared on social networking site last many years.

Unfortunately, Facebook was failed to delete such kind of posts and terrorists content, which are on site last three years or more. However, the most important thing is that the number of new terrorists content removal has increased and Facebook is now catching such posts quickly.

During the first quarter of the current financial year, 1.2M posts were removed; 2.2M in the second quarter and 2.3 Million posts were deleted in the third quarter of 2018. The number of complaints received from users was 16,000, which have been deleted in 3rd quarter.


According to the recent Facebook users stats more than two billion users are currently using social networking site Facebook, but 14 Million posts and terrorists content seems to be less, however company says, we are still working to stop them and in this regard auto-catcher tools are being extended to control such posts.

According to the company, the algorithm has been successful in catching the posts in 19 languages that violate company’s principles. Due to a bug, the process of removing the material in the second quarter has slowed down and completed in 14 hours, while in the first quarter, the process was less than a minute and completed within 2 minutes in the third quarter.
