Egyptian Court Orders To Block YouTube For A Month

Egypt’s Supreme Administrative Court has ordered to block YouTube for a month. The court has issued this order against YouTube not to remove a controversial video film based on insulting Prophet Islam.

According to the foreign news agency, a lawyer Muhammad Hamid Salam filed a case in 2013 against the film in Egypt, which he said that the Supreme Court ordered to block all links broadcasting the movie on YouTube. Also court said this order is final and no further appeal can be filed against it.

Meanwhile, the ministry of Egypt’s Communications and Information Technology did not immediately comment on this new order of court. It is clear that a sub-continent court of Egypt ordered the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to block the video on YouTube by not removing this video by Google’s proprietary web site.

However, another court had issued a preliminary order against YouTube and the Ministry filed an appeal against the case.
